Harvest time!

	The dike is first cut to allow the water to drain. (Afterwards, the pond's bottom is sun-dried and cleared of debris before refilling and restocking).
	Nets are then dragged across the pond to trap the fish.
	After surveying the catch,
	Fingerlings are carefully collected for storage in a small nearby pool. They are cared for in this pool until the large pond is ready for restocking ( approximately 2 weeks).
